Company NTN registration, right after incorporation.

Once SECP issues your certificate of incorporation, your company still needs its own NTN from FBR — separate from the personal NTNs of its directors — before it can legally invoice, bank, or file taxes.

Company vs individual

Why your company needs its own NTN

Your company is a separate legal person from you, so it needs its own tax identity too. Directors and shareholders keep their personal NTNs for their own individual returns, entirely separate from the company's filings.

We register your company's NTN as part of our standard registration packages, so there's no gap between getting your incorporation certificate and being able to actually operate and invoice.

Common questions

Answered

Is a company NTN different from the directors' personal NTNs?

Yes. A SECP-registered company needs its own NTN as a separate legal entity, distinct from the personal NTNs its directors or shareholders may already hold.

What documents does a company need for NTN registration?

Your SECP certificate of incorporation, MOA/AOA, CNIC copies of directors, and proof of your registered business address.

How soon after incorporation should we register for a company NTN?

As soon as possible — you can't legally invoice clients, open a corporate bank account in most cases, or file any tax return until your company has its NTN.
